ApplyGolabki-making party | Thursday, July 6 and Friday, July 7, 1-8 PM at Dom Polski. No experience necessary to participate. Anna Lidzbarski will teach how to make golabki (Polish cabbage rolls). |
Set-up and Take-down Helpers | Assistants will support set-up activities early in the day and take-down activities at the end of the festival. |
Children's Activities | Help with children's arts and crafts activities. Only evening shifts available (5-8 pm). |
Exhibit Monitoring | Assist upstairs in the exhibit area to ensure the safety and security of items on display for public viewing. |
Flex Volunteers | Primarily fill-in for no-show volunteers, but may be asked to deliver items around grounds or assist with general tasks. Flexibility and willingness to help out with any of our volunteer jobs are required. |
Greeters | Staff our entrances and make sure every guest is acknowledged while entering or exiting the Festival. Hand out program guides to guests and welcome them to the festival. This position is for individuals who like friendly interaction with people and embody the festive spirit of the event. A typical Greeter shift requires the ability to stand and takes place outdoors rain or shine. |
Polish Food Court Assistants | Plate and serve a variety of dishes. This function is one of the essential ones. The line of clients hungry for authentic Polish dishes never ends so be prepared to roll up your sleeves! Only evening shifts available (5-8 pm). |
Morning and Evening Transport and Clean-up Assistants | Transportation and clean-up assistants work early Saturday morning (7 AM) to load items at Dom Polski and transport them and unload them at Seattle Center. They repeat the activity on Saturday evening, this time loading items at Seattle Center and transporting them back to Dom Polski. It is preferred that the same people work all shifts. |
Vendors Area Set-up and Take-down Assistants | Help set-up marketplace on Saturday morning and take-down on Saturday evening. |
Head Wreaths Workshop Assistant | Assist the lead in making head wreaths from wild flowers. Only evening shifts available (5-8 pm). |
Stage Assistants | Assist the stage manager in managing entertainment, events, stage activities and supervising musical instruments. Only evening shifts available (5-8 pm). |
