The Seattle Polish Film Festival is proud to be participating again in the Seattle Polish Festival.
Be sure to stop by the screening room on the upper floor of the Armory Loft #3 for featured screenings for the whole family and to find out more about the Seattle Polish Film Festival. A 2-hour collection of short films from Poland will be shown continually throughout the day.

Beksinski_Butoh Film & Presentation at 5:00, Armory Loft #3
Warsaw composer and video artist Robert Jędrzejewski and Seattle butoh dancer and director Joan Laage will present Beksinski_Butoh Untitled 2. The presentation will include an excerpt from the performance, video footage of the project and of Beksinski’s paintings, and a discussion with the artists. The project was inspired by renowned Polish painter, photographer, and fantasy artist Zdzislaw Beksinski (1929–2005), whose art, in the field of dystopian surrealism, is persuasively evocative.
About Seattle Polish Film Festival
This year our selection of short films will highlight our upcoming animation workshop with Polish artist, Joanna Polak. In partnership with the Northwest Film Forum, we will be sponsoring a class for young people the weekend before our 24th annual film festival, which runs October 14–23, 2016. No experience is necessary. To sign up for the fall animation workshop contact Luke Sieczek at lukasz@polishfilms.org
